Icecream is healthy!
Everybody would say that fruits and veggies are healthy. And bananas are fruits. And perfect for ice cream. A just-banana-icecream. Really. Nothing else but banana!
I found this recipe in one of the Moosewood-books, more exactly in the book “Moosewood Restaurant book of Desserts”. It soundes so crazy that I had to try it. No kidding, it works.
You need a freezer, a ripe banana (per person), and an electric blender.
First, you cut the banana in rounds and freeze it.
Then you put it in the blender:
Nope, you’re not done yet, continue:
If necessary, scratch the banana back to the blade:
…there’s ice cream!!
