Pronounce it while preparing them: Green beans!


…just as it sounds funny, I think. This is a very easy salad which often finds its way into my bento. Normally I always have some green beans in the freezer and dried tomatoes in the cupboard. The feta cheese is just an extra.

Boil 100 g green beans in water until done. Just after putting the beans into the water, add 3-4 dried tomatoes (the dry ones, not the ones in oil). Drain everything when it’s done, put the beans in a salad bowl. Cut the dried, now soft (so what are they now? Neither dried nor just tomatoes…) tomatoes and add them. Add about 1 tblsp of balsamico vinegar (yes, it must be balsamico! “Normal” vinegar would be too sour) and 1-2 tblsp oil (neutral taste). If you want, you can crumble some feta over it.

Season with salt, if necessary.
