Getting rid of molasses
For making Christmas cookies I bought molasses. Since then it’s in my cupboard waiting for its destiny. Some people eat it spreaded on bread, but I don’t really like its taste (why did I buy it then, I wonder) and I have to admit that I’m not a bread-eater (ok, the picture pretends, that I am. Actually I do love bread, just not for eating it everyday. It’s weird, I know.)
So I decided to use it in salad dressing for my endives.
1-2 tsp tahini
juice of 1/2 lemon
1-2 tsp molasses
some drops of water
cut 2 endives and add them. If you want, toast in a dry pan 1/2 handful of almonds. Mix everything.
